Free Uber rides for newborns in NYC!

uber weespring

That first car ride with your newborn is probably the most white-knuckled driving experience you’ll ever have — so weeSpring is partnering with Uber to make it a little less stressful (and a lot more comfortable). This month, Uber is offering a free ride home from the hospital to weeSpring parents in New York City (limited quantity available).

While the weeRides program is BYOC (bring your own car seat), it’s part of the bigger launch of uberFAMILY, which allows you to order an Uber with a car seat sized for babies and toddlers 12 months and up. As New York City parents ourselves, we think it’s a game-changer for getting around with a toddler in tow.

And even if you don’t have a hospital ride home in your immediate future, registering for weeRides will get you a $30 voucher toward your first Uber.

(Think this is awesome? Tweet about it by clicking here.)

Here’s how to sign up:

1. Visit weeSpring.com/uber.  If you’re not already a weeSpring member, sign up.

2. Rate your car seat.  (if you’ve previously rated your car seat but want to be part of weeRides, you can just email us.)

3. We’ll send you an email with your code.  (If you don’t receive this email within fifteen minutes, drop us a line.)

The fine print: there’s a limited quantity of  free rides available, but even if you don’t get one, you can still get a coupon for $30 off your first Uber ride.  Both weeRides and the coupons can be used in UberX, BLACK, and SUV, and they can be used until 7/1/2014. Ride discount for new users only. Excludes uberT.  Valid in US only.
