2019 Amazon Prime Day Deals

Amazon Prime Day

(It’s basically Christmas in July.)

Amazon Prime Day kicks off this Monday and Tuesday (July 15 and 16), and will, for the first time ever, last a full 48 hours. With over a million items for sale (eek!), there is a teeny catch—it’s exclusively for Prime members, BUT, if you haven’t jumped on that bandwagon yet, Amazon is offering a free 30-day trial to test it out, meaning you can test the waters *and* take advantage of the Prime Day deals. If you end up liking what the membership has to offer, it’s $119/year (or $12.99/month).

While you can stay in the know by routinely refreshing your browser to catch the latest deals (some are time-sensitive and can go in minutes), we’ve rounded up a few of our favorite things that we know will be on sale. It’s a great time to finish off those remaining items on your registry, or even think ahead to the holidays (one of our team members bought a slew of super-discounted Echo Dots last year during the sale and gave them to family members for Christmas).

Maxi-Cosi isn’t messing around.

Thanks to Maxi-Cosi’s Prime Day deals, you can save up to $100 on some of their most popular car seats.

We’re big fans of the Magellan 5-in-1 Convertible Car seat (it can be used from birth to elementary school—you can read our take on it here.)

Also, the Maxi-Cosi Pria 85 Max 2-in-1 and the Pria 85 2-in-1 car seats are also both discounted—and both are tremendous seats with a forward-facing weight limit of 85lbs! The main difference is the Max has an extended weight range (good from 5lbs onward) and offers a super-snazzy magnetic chest clip.

Got bottles on your brain? Tommee Tippee has you covered.

Even if you’re moving beyond (or aren’t in) the bottle phase, Tommee Tippee has a slew of products that will be 20% off on Prime Day—think anti-colic bottle feeding sets, steam sterilizers, various pacifiers, spill-proof sippy cups, 360 Easiflow cups, and more. It’s a great time to stock up on your favorites, or try a new brand if your little one’s doing that I-hate-my-current-bottle thing.

Carry on, with LÍLLÉbaby.

Comfortable, innovative, and ergonomic carriers and wraps from Scandinavian company, LÍLLÉbaby are up to 40% off, making carrying your little ones around fun and less expensive—win, win! The LÍLLÉbaby 3-in-1 CarryOn toddler airflow carrier is 40% off, the LÍLLÉbaby Ring Sling with removable pocket is 35% off, and the LÍLLÉbaby Complete baby carrier is 35 % off.

Watch this. Or rather, watch them, with Owlet.

With parents raving about their Owlet Smart Socks, parents and parents-to-be are going to be thrilled that both the Smart Sock and their new Cam will be on sale (finally!) on Prime Day. The Owlet Cam (your more traditional video monitor) will be $116, and the Smart Sock will be $229—a savings of more than 20% for both!

Breastfeeding made easy(ier) with Lansinoh.

While we’re all pretty familiar with the idea that breastfeeding is natural and that (supposedly) evolution has prepared women to nurse easily, that’s not always the case, even with all of the information available. Give yourself a leg—er, breast—up with a ton of products from Lansinoh at 30% off (like nursing pads, breastfeeding pillow, and a breastmilk collector, just to name a few.)

Skip Hop + Sloths = must-have gear.

Parent-fave brand, Skip Hop, is launching three new products in conjunction with Prime Day and they do not disappoint. They’re coming out with a new potty training toilet, a sleep trainer (think a soothing toddler nightlight and alarm clock), and—wait for it— a sloth-themed activity gym.

Hey there, Hanna.

One of our favorite clothing brands is Hanna Andersson, not only for their super adorable prints, but for their amazing quality and eco-friendly fabrics. This Prime Day, Hanna Andersson is launching an Amazon-exclusive line called “Moon and Back,” which are truly out of this world.

“Alexa, tell my kids a story.”

It’s not that surprising that Amazon’s own gear and products are going to be on mega-sale during Prime Day—and their super popular mini-Alexa, the Echo Dot. While the regular version is almost guaranteed to be at one of its lowest price points of the year, the all-new Echo Dot Kids edition will be on sale too. This latest gadget plays music, tells stories, read books, call approved friends and family (ahem, like the grandparents), play games and more—all with parental controls like time limits and search parameters.

And lest you think our favorite Prime Day deals are just goodies for your kids, some of our other faves are likely to be offered for a steal over the next 48-hours. We’d take a gander at Amazon’s home services, deals with Whole Foods, the latest kitchen gadgets (we see you, air fryers), or maybe nab the whole fam a new set of wheels
