Create No Mess, Digital Hand and Footprints

HANDPRESSIONS GETS A HIGHFIVE

If you’re like us, your phone is full of photos documenting every adorable moment of your baby’s life. New parents face a lot of daunting tasks… and trying to get a decent baby footprint or handprint to save forever is one of them. No pressure, right? Luckily, a new app makes it simple to digitally capture those tiny fingers and toes, with zero mess. Because dipping a squirmy infant’s hands and feet in paint isn’t pleasant for anyone involved…

With Handpressions, you just snap a photo of your baby’s hands or feet with your iPad, or even use a picture that’s saved in your photo library. Edit the image, and voila … you’ve got your print. No people, pets or furniture will be painted in the process. Plus, the app offers more than 400 design templates to create a work of art featuring your little work of art. These come in handy for making memorable gifts (hello, grandparents), announcements, and invitations.

So, go ahead and get hand (and footprint!) happy. Just do your kids a favor and nip this habit in the bud before they reach high school.

Hi. How long does it take to receive the prints? I placed an order in early May and have not yet received anything.

      Hi Kimm,
I’m not sure how long it should take since we aren’t the folks who actually make the prints. I would encourage you to reach out directly to Handpressions–you can contact them via this link and hopefully you’ll have your order soon!

    • Hi Kimm,

We have two options for printing: Print from Home and Print and Shipped. If your order was a Print and Shipped order, you should have received it within 4-5 days, where as Print from Home is an emailed PDF ready to print from your home. If there is still an issue with your order, please don’t hesitate to email us at createit@handpressions.com and we will get it sorted out.

      Sincerely,
      The Handpressions Team

I’m sorry ,you take the fun out of it . And the exactness of their hand or foot.

    • Kierra says:

I agree with you. I do love their ideas and concept, but it takes away from what their tiny hands really look like. I was expecting them to put their hand on the ipad and do it like the heat sensor app, I think I’ll stick to the mess and continue to do it myself for free.

    • Hi Joan,

We understand the love of the tradition, you can also print out designed templates without the hand or footprint and have at it 🙂

Alternatively, you can take photos of your paint-made handprints and footprints and add them to your child’s profiles to save them and create more using that handprint/footprint.

      Sincerely,
      Jessie from Handpressions
