weeLove: Royally Pregnant

Fit for a Queen

THE MATERNITY DRESS EVERYONE SHOULD OWN

Sometimes at weeSpring, we get invited to do really cool stuff… like go on TV.  But sometimes, that call comes when we’re five months pregnant and have literally nothing that fits (except yoga pants), and no time to shop properly. Q: What’s a girl to do?  A: Google “Kate Middleton maternity dress.”

Seraphine, a ten year old UK-based maternity line, made a big splash last year when the pregnant princess wore their Jolene dress.  And like all things Kate-related, it’s perfection.  Looks polished, feels like pajamas.  It’s versatile enough to take you from barely-there bump to massive belly — and it only costs $85.  You can even wear it for your official family portrait, post-baby.

And lucky you… you don’t have to be a princess (or even English) to score one; they launched in the US eighteen months ago.  Next up: finding a royal to change the nappies… er, diapers.
