The Ultimate Baby Gift: Diaper Bag Essentials
From weeSpring’s guide to practical gift giving: survival kits for almost every new-baby-need. We pulled these items from our weeLists, which are weeSpring parents’ own individual lists of what got them through all of the different ages and stages.
They warn you, when you’re expecting, that you’ll never leave the house again without armloads of stuff, and the diaper bag is at the core of that. And while many parents will register for the bag they want, figuring out what to carry in it — beyond the obvious choice of diapers — is still kind of a mystery. Equip mom and dad with the diaper bag essentials, so they always have what they need when they’re on the go.

THE BASICS (these will run about $40)
The Mommy Hook, a huge carabiner lets you attach virtually any bag to your stroller
Boogie Wipes, gentle saline-soaked wipes you can use for more than boogers
A wet bag, to contain the aftermath of the inevitable diaper explosions
A toy tether, so toys don’t wind up on the sidewalk
Aquaphor, the ultimate all-purpose ointment — but get it in a tube!
Skip Hop bib, which folds up into its own little pocket
If you want to go all out, consider adding:
Skip Hop Pronto Changer, which can make any bag your diaper bag
A gift certificate for diapers, if you don’t know which brand mom prefers

Really helpful checklist for carrying diaper bags while traveling.
I always have at least 2 mummy hooks on my pram. Just incase I end up buying extra items whilst out.
